2. to mention; to describe; to give an account of
実に詳しく記されてます。It's described in great detail.
3. to inscribe; to mark; to brand
祭壇には多くの名が記されている。Many names are inscribed on the altar.
4. to remember; to engrave (in one's mind)
as 心に記す, 胸に記す, etc.
