2. to point out (finger, clock hand, needle, etc.)
彼は人が集まっているところを目線で示し、質問した。He indicated the place where people were gathering with his gaze and asked a question.
3. to indicate; to show; to represent; to signify; to display
無言はそのまま肯定を示していた。The silence itself signified agreement.
